Green Bay is a favourite destination for diving and snorkelling. Although primarily suitable for beginner divers, Green Bay will satisfy more advanced practitioners, too. There's abundant marine life to observe, including trumpetfishes, parrotfishes, cardinalfishes, brightly coloured wrasses, and sea stars, among many others.
Several statues and ancient columns are scattered all over the seabed at a shallow depth - no more than ten metres. However, the divers and snorkellers' main attractions are the turtles grazing freely on Posidonia oceanica seagrass, octopuses, squids, and seahorses.
Besides diving, you can also visit Green Bay for other water sports, including wakeboarding, wakeskating, and wakesurfing, with classes provided by the Green Bay Wake Academy.
The beach at Green Bay is small and lacks facilities, although you will find sun loungers and umbrellas for rent and a small kiosk selling refreshments and snacks.
