Just a short walk from the centre of Protaras, Fig Tree Bay is a lovely beach with crystal clear
waters and great scenery. The beach is stunning and definitely worth a visit, if you’re
planning a trip in Cyprus. It has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag for its outstanding
water quality and public facilities and it is a Green Beach under the eco-initiative “Green
Cyprus Beaches”. The water is really clean and the overall experience was just superb. There
were several water sports on offer. Lots of places to eat and drink and places to purchase
drinks and snacks for the beach. Very easy to access for disabled. Fig Tree Bay has a wooden
board walk along its entire length that is very convenient for young families with push chairs
and for the elderly using walking aids.
